Specs: Windows xp
Hello, I have a network with 2003 srvr- xp clients.
Every user, except one, I create cannot connect to the map network drive, and when I try to access the network from my network places there appears a message that I do not have the rights to access this domain, then I log in as a domain administration and I modify the permissions on the domain full control to everyone and still nothing. The most wierd thing is that the permissions and the right of these users are exactly the same to this user that can connect to the domain, please help me!!! I have been trying this out for a week and it is driving crazy!!!

if the issue is one user can't access a folder but everyone else can, the solution is never to open up the rights on the folder.

odds are you forgot to add the user to the correct group to have access.

or you have a deny on this user [never use denys]

It should be very easy to see under the security tab/advanced/effective permissions to determine what rights are missing between a user that works and this one that doesn't.
