Internal website no longer working

Specs: Windows 7
Everyone in our building was able to connect to the company web page. Last week it just shut off. No one can connect to it now. The error we get just says we are not connected to the internet or the web address is wrong. Ive been reading to see if i can find a solution but i havnt had any luck. I Re-ran the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizzard and left all of the settings the same. Its not set to allow the entire site access on the internet, and the wwwroot box is not checked. However when the wizard starts to run it always errors on the Firewall Configuration, and all it says is "An error occurred while configuring a component, to continue click ok, to end click cancel" If anyone has come across this error before hand and knows a solution i welcome any and all help.

what does email and internet connection have to do with your web site?

where is your web site? You say internal but there is no mention of what you are using to host the web site.

Your first stop should be the event viewer logs for errors about the time the web site went down.
