Solved IIS6 - 404 error on both guest and admin

Specs: Windows 2003
Hi all,

This is the very first time that I have tried to get IIS working on Win2003, and I am having a major haedache with it. I managed to get the default site working on localhost, this is where the problem first arised, it would not get rid of the login popup when viewing the website externally. So after many days (literally) tweaking permissions etc etc I have now got to a point where I see a constant 404 error on both guest & admin.

I have exhausted possibilities on what to do next, I have a server setup that I am currently renting. Is there anyone around to help me out with this? I am at the end of the road now and just cannot figure it out.

The test page appears when I go to the site. That seems to be working. Use the local IP to view the site on your LAN & the URL outside of your LAN.
