February 27, 2012 at 21:55:25
Specs: Windows 2008 server
my domain : blr.synergtech.com
IP address of server :
IP :192.168.2.2
Subnet :255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.2.1
DNS : 192.168.2.2

Belkin router IP info:
Router IP : 192.168.2.1
IP pool starting 192.168.2.50 to 192.168.2.100

in Router the DNS i have given
DNS adress:192.168.2.2
secondary dns address : 192.168.1.1(ISP provided)

I have installed the domain controller and configured the DNS, but i need to know how the DHCP and DNS connect, and i am getting error in dns as "The network adapter Wireless Network Connection does not list the loopback IP address as a DNS server, or it is configured as the first entry."
and in nslookup -
Server : server.blr.synergtech.com
address :192.168.2.2

server.blr.synergtech.com can't find nslookup: non-existent domain.

Please advice me wat will the issues.

192.168.1.1 is not ISP provided and is not a invalid ip address for dns.
A isp provided dns server would be a public ip not a private ip like 192.168.1.1

Unless your internet access is based on the ISP extending their private network to your lan. Of course this means you can never do port forwarding.

Usually you don't use wireless on a server since its slow and insecure compared to wired. If you aren't useing wifi on the server you should disable the interface.

A server is never configured to use dhcp but has a static ip assignment.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
