how to open gadget programs on 2003 pc

Windows server 2003 cannot handle desktop gadgets - the only operating systems that can handle desktop gadgets are windows vista (all editions) and windows 7 (all editions). Windows server 2008 might be able to support them as it is based on vista, but I have not used it yet and cannot verify it If you really need desktop gadget support there is google desktop - but this probably wont support microsoft .gadget files Hope this helps anyway
