How can i start my own domain?

Specs: Windows 7
i have 2003 server enterprise CD and i would like to start my own domain. Get familiar with AD and 03 and more.

If this is just for internal use, you can use any domain name that you like (but to avoid confusion you probably don't want to duplicate an existing one). Just pick something like "yourname.local" for example.

To actually create the domain and the Active Directory, type "dcpromo" in a command prompt and follow the instructions. You'll need to tell it to create a new DNS server.

A Windows Server Domain has no connection whatsoever with websites.
