GPO - Startup script doesnt work

Microsoft Windows server 2003 enterprise
April 26, 2010 at 16:45:51
Specs: Windows XP
I have a .vbs I'm trying to execute it via the group policy. If I log onto the server the script runs from the group policy without any problems.

If I log on from any other machine the script does not get run via the group policy. However, if I manually execute the script it works correctly.

If I log on as the same user that I logged directly onto the server as on a different machine (I know that was kind of hard to follow) it doesn't work either.

Depends on what the script is doing. There may be something in it that is interacting with local files. Can you post your script?

Is it a logon script defined under user configuration, or a
startup/shutdown script under computer configuration? If it's
under computer configuration, ensure your group policy object is
under the correct OU
