hi, does anyone know any GPO available to control user login session limit? (not a Terminal Services). I mean if user has already logged in domain, he/she will be restricted to one session if attempting to log in another PC.
I do know there is GPO to restrict logging computer account, but that is not I want. I need to be notified by system pop-up say you are restricted to one windows session. Any similar GPO available? please advise...Angus
I don't think that it can be done with a GPO, but have a look at this article about a tool in the Windows Resource Kit that may be what you are looking for. But if you want a pop-up, rather than a restriction you might be able to implement log-on scripts that record how many times the user is logged on and then pop-up the message and log the user off if he is already logged on elsewhere.
thank you so much, this may be definitely a good start Angus
