Solved everything opens very slowly when connected to windows 2003

Specs: Windows 2003 server
when i connect to windows 2003 server from thin clients (acer veriton n2630 using remmina remote connection)the connection gets fast and ok. when i start opening applications installed in the server (ex: opening a pdf file having only 2 pages) it takes enormous time i have configured terminal server per user . for about 50 users. i have checked network connections, by placing another thin clients, still the problem exists. sometime the thin client even get struck (the mouse pointer disappears. the server is has two 1tb hdd. raided raid1. is raid1 causing the problem? or is there any problem with terminal server configuration? we have an application built in vb+oracle as backend. can anyone pl. help me to solve the issue. thanking you all in advance.

That site may have a few useful things, for you, even though it includes a Unix scenario.
One point made on it, is that the apps weren't really made for a multiple user situation.

You have 50 TS licenses?
What are the server specs?
What are the clients pointed to for dns?
