I am looking for DOS command(s) for information about the remote desktop client version about its usages, license, version etc. on windows server machine.

Not sure what you mean by license, as RDP is built-in to Windows. You can view the switches by typing mstsc /help in the Command Prompt Window (Not Dos.)

To find the version, etc, you can look at the properties of the file in Windows Explorer.

Thankyou for the response.
Basically I want to know all the information of RDP through command prompt command.
Yea you are correct, RDP is builtin so no license info.
Running mstsc.exe will open a interface. I just want all possible info in a textual format on console.
