Specs: window server 2003, cpu
how to setup dns server 2003,for home network only
1) i dont have a router
2) what ip address can i use

you can use any range of ip you want though I would recommend you use 192.168.1.x 255.255.255.0 for subnet

i have another question,,
for my dns server what would be mydefault gateway and preffered dns ip address, since i am not using a router i have two PC that i want to connect to my server,what should be the two pc ip address..

There is no reason for you to have a dns server for two pcs with no internet.
You understand what dns is about?
