Deploying a Scheduled Task

Microsoft Windows server 2003
June 8, 2010 at 03:15:39
Specs: Windows Server 2003, Intel, 4Gb RAM
I am trying to automate the defragging of the
local hard drive of all the client PCs, running
Windows XP, on a domain. I have created a
batch file that calls defrag.exe and then shuts
down the PC, and I was hoping I could deploy
a scheduled task that calls the file via group
policy. I cannot, however, see a way to do
this in Windows Server 2003.

Is this possible, and if not how can I achieve
the same end result by any means? I have
found it may be possible using a vbs but I have
no experience of this.

Many thanks for any help.

Hi, thanks for the link but I checked that already, it is only for
Windows Server 2008 - that setting is not in Group Policy for
Server 2003.

Oh right, sorry, missed that one. I haven't read all of this through, but try this link out. It seems to have a few things about this:
