Specs: Windows 7
I have a dell poweredge 2950 running window server 2003 used as Technical monitoring and configuration system for our vcs. The server halted. I restarted the server, it couldnot boot
the system unit screen shows E2022 Post fail. The monitor shows PCLe Training error: Embeded I/o bridge device 6. Any help on how to go about it is highly welcomed.

As you do on e.g. Windows 2000/XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Press the F8 key right after the BIOS screen.
You might have to press it more than once.

Hi, Paulsep,
Thanks for ur help. I latter noticed that two capacitors, 1500uF/6.3V on the PCIe daughter card were swollen at the top. I replaced them with 1000uF/16V as I could not find the exact value. The server came on and boot ok. I installed the server into the rack and everything worked ok. The server stopped working again after about 3 days showing E2119 and E1410 fatal errors with regard to processor and CRC memory. I reseat the ram chips and the processor fans. I also reconnect the ground connection between the server and the rack which I had earlier removed in the course of taking out the server from the rack. The server has been working ok for the past 24 hrs. I hope it continue to do so. Thanks.
