Specs: windows 2003
Hi,
I am writing this request expecting your kind advice. We are small company having one head office and one branch office.
1. Head office –single domain controller windows 2003
Head office having - 15 users
All 25 users connected to domain to share network printers and other resources.
Domain Name: HOF-DOMAIN
IP: 172.168.1.1

2. Branch office- Single domain controller windows 2003
Head office having - 10 users
All 25 users connected to domain to share network printers and MAP Drive from File server. Since the file server having accounts database.
Domain Name: BRC-DOMAIN
Fileserver: Drive Shared
IP: 172.168.2.1

Now I want to connect HEAD Office users to connect the branch office network to access the fileserver (shared Drive as MAP drive)
What is the best way to connect the branch office network? I have already requested for MPLS 1MB from service provider.
How to give the file server access to Head office domain users.

I don’t want complicated to administrate, since I have only single domain available at both side.

Two domains or two forests?
Very different animals

What you describe above is not two domains but two forests. Google forest trusts for the how to.

You should have had both sites on the same forest and each site as a OU in AD for a "easier" setup to maintain.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
