Hi,
a work with SBS2003, and there is problem with IP address.
I can ping clients from server either with IP or name. But when I try to connect to any client, I can connect only with name (\\PC1\), but I can't connect with ip address (\\192.168.1.6\).
Any idea?
I try nslookup and recive that hostname office is for address 192.168.1.6.
That works fine...

I shut down firewall. There is Kasperski Antivirus without firewall. Error message:
"Windows cannot find '\\192.168.1.6'. Check the spelling and try again, or try searching for the item by clicking Start button and than clicking Search."
Is this true for all server/pcs or just this one ip address? What is the error is you go \\192.168.1.6\C$ ?

ipconfig/all shows good results, there is ip address from DHCP, good gateway address, good DNS and DHCP server address.
Other hosts can work between each other with IP address,
only server have this problem...
