December 3, 2010 at 01:53:46
Specs: Windows server2003, core2 duo/2gb
os is windows server 2003 enterprise x64 edition

1)i did a mistake by disabling administrator windows logon from computer management.
whenever i enter & provide password, it is giving "your account has been disabled.please
see your system administrator".
2)unfortunately there is only one account to login which is
disabled.
3)i tried through safemode ((all options except last known configuration))but it is asking for password.
4)in order to enable administratorlogon i tried through recovery console by placing os cd in the dvd driver.approched upto
c:windows/system32> .i donot know how to use recovery console commands.
if any body know solution plz tell me.

Compmgmt.msc runs only in the Windows environment and cannot be accessed from the recovery console. You cannot reset passwords from the recovery console.

What you can do is from another machine logged in as admin run mmc and the computer management snapin for that server. This should give you access to change the admin back.

always create one or two extra admin equal accounts so you always have a door into the system.
