If you just wanted to commit suicide there are easier ways of doing it.

you never make users admins on the server or workstations unless you want them to destroy your network, corrupt your data and take down the server.

otherwise the answer to your question is in your question. you simply add the users to the administrators group.

Like wanderer said it is likely to cause you more problems adding users as local admins but whatever the situation this is one way to do it:

To add a user as an admin on xp/win7 you will need to be logged on as an admin yourself:

left click start> right click my computer/computer> left click manage>
expand local users and groups> select groups> open the 'administrators'

add your users in here.
