does anyone know of a way to output data into a column other than A in a CSV file?

i have a batch file that i can publish through a GPO, and my rough draft right now looks something like this:

echo %computername% >> C:\test.csv
wmic csproduct get name >> C:\test.csv

but this produces a single list of names and models all in column A, making it impossible to sort by one value or the other. What i really want is a way to output the computer name in column A and then WMIC results in column B, then i can sort by PC name OR by WMIC info.

any thoughts?

Use Nina Alloy from http://www.alloy-software.com/disco...

Its a great app. You can work on it with 20 systems at a time for free. if you have 25 systems. Delete 1st five after creating reports the last 5 will appear in report. I have been using this from last so many years. Its great report , even software licence managment is great.
