Allow write access on server to local account

October 19, 2011 at 13:42:00
Specs: Windows 2003
We have a unix server that generates a flat file report that an application on my Server 2003 box needs to import on a schedule. The applicaiton that creates the report on the unix box can place the file wherever they tell it to. I would like to give it permission to write to a folder on our server but the account is local to that Unix server. How can I grant it write access to a folder on my server?

Thanks!

You would need something that talks unix on the server. This is beyond just an account issue. Perhaps the link below can help

You could set up FTP on the Windows server and transfer the files that way.
