Specs: Windows Vista
Hello,

I would like to setup additional server in existing domain network. At the moment I have a few servers one of them is DNS and AD with Windows server 2008. Now I want setup additional server with applications and shared files. On new server I want install Windows Small Bussiness Server 2003 R2. During instalation new OS I have icon on the desktop called "instalation system". After when I click this I'm able to configurate OS. Unforunatly in first step this configuration I have to write full DNS server and netbios. In this step I can't use existing DNS and netbios from Domain. What I should write there? I don't want create new DNS server and netbios. How I can skip this step and configurate WSBS without DNS and domain?

Thanks
Marcin

Windows Small Bussiness Server 2003 R2 does not support it. It cannot be a tree in the forest. You will have to use something besides SBS.

OK. Not good. But I'm able to use this OS without configuration? So will skip step with configuration windows server only I add server to domain and update all patches. Then I will install some network aplication and create shared folder for users?

Is it possilble using this?
Thanks,

You need to return SBS and get the correct version of Server for your system
