2003 domain user cannot access web pages

Specs: Windows XP
Hi,

We have on 2 locations a server 2003 network , I joined a new user to the domain and the user has full access on the domain but has problems with the display off internet web pages. A search on Google.com will display the search but if the user clicks on a search Firefox and IE 8 display "waiting for----". Trying to join a new user on to the second server 2003 network resulted in the same problem. Both new users on both domains can ping everything , tracert works fine just no display of the websites. There are no GPO's restricting anything.

I'm totally out of my dept with this one.

Thanks for any help,

Ed

Hi,

Forgot to mention if both computers are plugged in directly to the modem and are not on the domain the internet connection works fine.

Ed

Latest update:

If in RRAS on the WAN internet adapter, the basic firewall option is unselected, the new domain computer can access the internet. If the option is selected all other computers can access the internet but the new domain computer cannot.
The test worked on both the independent Server 2003 locations
