I Have an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00Ghz. Totally i have my old 64 MB Ram. And i removed that old RAM and Put a New 512 MB RAM. And after that i always see is only 128 MB OF RAM. Can anyone help me? :( that is new 512 MB.
You need to give some more specs about the machine; manufacturer, model, motherboard (if possible) and type of RAM originally installed and type currently installed... "Channeling the spirit of jboy..."
Go to crucial.com and run their online scan tool to determine how much and what type/size RAM your computer can use. Evidently the module you have installed is not compatible with your system.
The motherboard/chipset determines how much of the RAM is seen & used, not the CPU. We need to know more about your system, make/model of the motherboard & the type of RAM you're working with. Also, how much RAM did you have before you started messing with it & how much are you attempting to install? If you only had 64MB, that's not nearly enough to run XP. And the fact that you even mentioned 64MB is an indication of old system, probably running SDR memory (PC100 or PC133).
