Hello. Can any of you tell me how I can get decent volume to my music that I am trying to send to Paltalk from Windows Media Player? It seems that Windows 2000 is missing "stereo mix" setting? That is what I hear, anyway. When I try to play a song in Paltalk, the volume is very low, even though I have turned all my sliders up, including hardware acceleration.

There is some free software out there called MP3Gain that automatically increases or decreases the volume of an MP3 to normal volume levels. Are the songs you are playing MP3s? If not they won't work with the software.

No they are not MP3 files. They are songs I took from C.D. and put them on W.M.P.
