Minimum Ram memory required for Windows 2000

December 3, 2010 at 15:31:23
Specs: Windows 2000, 128k
I have an old Compaq laptop with Win98 installed. It only supports 128k of Ram. Can I run Windows 2000 with only 128k of Ram?
Thanks for your input.

I believe you meant 128 MB. Even Windows 98 wouldn't run on only 128k.

Windows 2000 will run fine on 128 MB of RAM, depending on what you want to do with it. It is capable of running on a system with as little as 32 MB of RAM.
