I wanna install windows 2000 from iso image to my dual core laptop. There are 4 partitions and I'm using windows xp on H:when I copied w. 2000 files to h and run h:\i386\winnt32.exe, it says I am using a newer version so I Cannot continue.I prepared my flash with WinSetupFromUsb but this before partition selection section İt asks me to insert window 95 or 98 cd etc.How can I install windows 2000 without cd or ploppy drive.?
If the image was created off a different computer the installation will most likely fail. In my experience with Win2000 even adding on new piece of hardware caused a restore to fail when applied to the SAME hardware. You need to install fresh.
What kind of laptop doesn't have a CD drive?
i have a cdrom but i doesnt function.i want to use installing from usb method whever i need.is anybody Winbuilder.net for that?
Get a CD/DVD drive. How long do you think you'll survive without one? And why do you need Win2000 if you have XP?
