Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.797 GHz / 3053 MB
Does any one know where the system 32 files are located at on the Windows cd disk?

For example where can I find msgian.dll or explorer.exe on the CD disk?

Thanks

You've got a typo.

Most of the files on CD are scrunched so you need to expand them.

expand r:\i386\msgina.dl_ c:\temp\msgina.dll

cool it worked thanks ^_^.

Now I want to compress that file.
I tried compress C:\temp\msgina.dll so I would get msgina.dl_ but it says the compress it not recognized as an internal operation.

Is there any way to compress it?

Thanks again

I think M$ does it with a proprietary compressor. But I don't know if it will run when compressed. There are EXE compressors, but that's another story.

Maybe ask in programming forum.
