ZIP files open with wrong default application

Specs: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 3.3 GHz / 32GB
I goofed. I configured Windows 10 to open ZIP files with Microsoft Access. How do I undo that so that ZIP files open properly?

Steve

Right click on a zip file & select Properties. Click Change, select File Explorer (or Adobe if it's installed), then click Apply.

A. Restore Windows to before your change.

B. Reset with ASSOC command.

C. Rightclick a ZIP file, choose PROPERTIES, change what program it opens with.

To be clear, Nigel's A, B, and C are 3 different ways to do it.

Absolutely. Three different ways to solve the problem. There are more ways, but less quick, or may require third party tools.

Not sure if the OP will ever return but I spotted a mistake in response #1. In the parentheses I wrote "Adobe" but it should have been WinZip or PeaZip. Personally, I prefer PeaZip. If you don't have it, download & install it & the problem will sort itself out. https://peazip.github.io/

I wondered what Adobe had to do with it. :-)
