windows 10 Task Host question

Specs: windows 10, intel i5
Hello all, have a message on shutdown. Task Host is stopping background task-Microsoft windows windows update\Automatic app update.

How do I sort this please.

At odd times discharging the motherboard can unstick computers - like this:

Turn off computer and unplug power cord. Remove the main battery too if it is a laptop. Before reversing these processes hold the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds. It might not help but at least it is easy to try.

Another thing to try if the above doesn't help is to go to Control Panel (type it in Search) then to "Troubleshooting". Click View All and then Windows Update. See if that fixes anything.

Sounds like you tried to shut it down in the middle of an update.
