I have a problem with screen display on windows 10 when I try to play older games. The image gets so big I can click on any options for that game. Hope I'm clear
Yes I have but you know what? Problem is solved. I just reset the resolution to the default settings and the game works perfectly!! How simple and/or silly.. ahhh computers... Thanks for your time.
What is the native resolution for your screen and what is it set on? Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
It is a 23 inches monitor and it is set at 1400 X 900. I ddn't want to set it higher although it can take much higher resolution.
I assume that is less than the native resolution (which would be the normal setting)? If the games are ancient then you could try DOS box.
Otherwise I can't see any way around this without increasing the screen resolution when you run those particular games.
I'm a bit surprised if you are running them directly in Win 10 that they are too large.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Well that is exactly my point...It is like as if I was looking at my game thru some binoculars and I was only able to see the center of the interface... So annoying... And the recommended resolution for my monitor is 1680 X 1050.
What onboard/video card are you using? This will tell you, if you can't find or don't know.

No, I didn't need any of those utilities. Mine is a Intel(R) Q35Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0) That is what is says in the device manager under Display adapter...
Have you tried the Intel Auto detect, to make sure you have the correct drivers?
