Solved Windiws 10 can't connect to wifi

Specs: Windows 10, i5/ 8g
It just says: Can't Connect to Network

I'm at a friends house so I've never connected to it before
I've already checked the network settings and I have never connected to it before...

I solved the problem. This isn't the first time it has happened. Yes I did have all the networks displayed but I couldn't connect. I basically hacked into their network (using my iPad that COULD connect to the network) using 192.168.0.1 thing. I just opened up a guest network and connected to it. Then it let me type the password to the normal network when I tried. -_-

And are you addressing the correct access point (the correct ssid) and entering the correct access key (which is case sensitive)? This does of course presume you can see the network (access point) required.
