Solved Why will Excel 2016 not let me see two workbooks at once

Specs: Windows 10
I saw a post about this with Starter version but my version is not starter, it is pro but I have the same issue. If I open two Excel workbooks and am working on them only one will be accessible without minimizing to get to the other. The proper boxes are checked and most of the time it works fine, I can navigate between workbooks fairly easily. But after the last windows update which turned my laptop into a brick with a screen - now from time to time it will not let me go easily between screens. Instead I have to do as others have stated minimize one to pull up the other. Microsoft keeps breaking their own product. I think it's a plot to get everyone to Office 365 personally. Next stop, the Apple Store.

If you click on View on the Ribbon and select the Switch Windows option, does that work for you?

That is a decent work around. Fewer steps than minimize and maximize back and forth. Thank you.
