Why has microsoft solitaire stopped running?

July 3, 2017 at 18:37:43
Specs: Windows 10 Home, Pentium 4/ 8GB RAM
The ads in Microsoft Solitaire are not running, which results in a white screen that hangs the program and thus I can't play. What can I do to fix this recurring problem? I have reinstalled the program a few times; it works fine for a while and then this problem comes up.

"Windows 10 Home, Pentium 4/ 8GB RAM"
Pentium 4 might be pushing it a bit with windows 10....
I have never 'installed' Microsoft Solitare but I use it. If you go to Add/Remove Programs and select the Add/Remove Windows Features, go down to Games on the list and check off the games you want to use, OK this and they will be installed for use (they are built in). ** If the game appears in the regular Programs list, uninstall this first to make sure that there is no conflict.**

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

MS seem to constantly mess these old games about, sometimes intentionally sometimes not. You can get them here (I am using them fine):

Do NOT install the recommended Windows fix junk - just use item 1. onwards.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Mine is doing it too. The only way I've found to fix it is to reset the app. Click on what use to be the Start button in the lower left hand of computer that is now a Window's symbol, click on Settings, click on Apps or Apps and Features whichever one yours is named, scroll down to MicroSoft Solitaire Collection, click on Advanced Options, click Reset and click Reset on pop-up. I did this about an hour ago and it's still working. I was going into the folder and deleting the Cache but had to do it everytime I opened the next game on the daily challenge which is annoying.
