Solved why does my backups always in fat 30 but hd is ntfs

Specs: Windows 10, 4 gig
hd is nfts but make backup is always fat 32 format.tried all windows ideas but the thumb drive is formated ntfs and when done it is fat 32..same with my initial backup i have stored on a western digital portable drive it is in fat 32 format..will it work when i need to use it to restore computer

If you have files on an NTFS formatted HDD & then back them up to a FAT32 external HDD, of course the files will be in FAT32 format. There will be no problems because NTFS can read both NTFS & FAT32.

erm... I think a slight typo here:

There will be no problems because NTFS can read both NTFS & FAT32

Perhaps that should read windows-10 (rather than ntfs) can read etc.
