Why do IE 11 script error messages keep popping up in Window

November 8, 2016 at 18:45:47
Specs: Windows 10
ALREADY had settings the way Microsoft/others said SHOULD BE to NOT get messages i.e. 'Display a notification about every script error' box unticked - other options around it are same as well.
DIDN'T WORK after Restart: Internet Options/Advanced/Multimedia/Disable 'Play animations in webpages'.
DIDN'T WORK after Reset/Restart as 'Play animations in Webpages' came back.
DIDN'T WORK after Reset/Disable 'Play animations in webpages'/Restart again.
RIGHT NOW, Internet Options has 'Display a notification about every script error' box unticked & 'Play animations in Webpages' unticked but still getting.

We keep getting the same question about IE11 script error over and over again. The culprit is Google Toolbar. Uninstall it. See http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

Suggestion #2 will probably fix it but if not go to:
IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab. Under the "Browsing" heading put a check mark in both of the Disable script debugging" entries. Also ensure there is no check mark in "Display a notification about every script error".

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi Derek, my settings are already as that.
I'll 'disable' Google Toolbar as XpUser suggested first to see how that goes. If still happens I'll uninstall completely.
It does say it's Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer but who know?
Cheers, Steve

Hey XpUser,
Since I disabled Google Toolbar, I've only had 1 Script Error message, touch wood, and that was not that long after I did it. Appreciate the advice.
Don't know why they say it's 'Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer' if it creates this problem.
Cheers, Steve
