Specs: Windows 10, ASUS
I was fiddling with the Acer monitor because my print job would go thru the motions but then not print. I hit a button on the menu that was a picture of the monitor and that's when it went black. I can get a no signal for a few seconds. Help!!!

Not sure why you thought fiddling with the monitor would help printing.

I assume this is a PC not a laptop and that you have already tried restarting the computer.

Turn off the computer then unplug its power cord and both of the monitor cables. Hold the computer Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds to discharge the motherboard components. Put everything back together and try again.

If that doesn't help let us know whether you are you talking about the inbuilt controls on the monitor itself?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks Derek. There was another issue that led to my "fiddling."😊 As of now, my PC is being checked out as the signal to the computer from the print order was not being sent. Also the PC power button has been not working properly. Thanks again! Diane

If this is an all-in-one computer as well as many separate monitors then the series of buttons on the monitor are monitor controls. The one with the monitor picture on it determines the input to the monitor itself. Pressing it again should bring up a menu that will show Computer, HDMI, and maybe one or two more options, use the smaller buttons to select the Computer icon and wait the 30 seconds it takes to change the setting to this and it should pick up the signal again.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
