Solved Why can't I get on to a web page?

March 2, 2019 at 09:28:25
Specs: Windows 10
For some strange reason I cannot get on to the web (despite my connection being o.k.). An XUL Runner box pops up when I try to hit any of my desktop shortcuts which reads with a big red X and ERROR: Platform Version '65.0.2' is not compatible with min Version > =65.0.1 max Version <=65.0.1
This is a first and am completely clueless as to what to do next.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

Yes. I have 2 different laptops, both running with FireFox, yet the problem is isolated to only one laptop.

Do the suggestions given riider's link at ~1 on the laptop that doesn't connect you to the net. In particular refresh and re-install Firefox as necessary.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thank you. I am able to open my other 2 browsers fine. However, how do I go about "refreshing" Firefox when I get get it to open. I need to be able to get into the menu or be able to hit "Refresh Firefox" while being on firefox.
