Solved where can I find Windows 10 ICON descriptions

Specs: Windows 64
Isn't there a CHART somewhere that shows what the icons are for or what they mean? For example, many icons in file manager have a little clock on top of the folder icon... what does that mean?!

Is this what you are looking for?

Note that the list was last updated March 2013 - 16 months before Windows 10 RTM in July 2015 so Icons unique to the new Windows version is not included.

Also go to "Control Panel > Default Programs". Look under these two headings:

1. Set your default programs.

2. Associate a file type or a protocol with a program.

These will tell you what program is used to run the various file types.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
