"I have tried 2 browsers nothing"
Do you mean that they other browsers get the long script problem too?

If so we need to look for something global causing this rather than browsers themselves.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Have you tried IE Reset?

If so run these two freebies in the order given and copy/paste the logs on here please:

AdwCleaner:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue Download button near top - not anything else on the page).
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the program. Use the "Scan" button, followed by the "Cleaning" button.

Junkware Removal Tool (JRT)
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue Download button near top - not anything else on the page).
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run JRT. It might appear to have stopped at times or flash the screen but sit tight until it has finished.#

Also let us know if this happens on alternative browsers such as Firefox.

AdwCleaner found nothing which I think is a good thing. Junkware found 2 files and removed them. So now I will see and get back to you. Jack Hackman

I had the same problem using Edge, IE, Chrome, and Firefox in Windows 10. Uses 92% of CPU.

A work around in Firefox is to use private browsing as default, have not found a solution for Edge, IE or Chrome.

Re #1.

I assume that you had already tried IE Reset and it didn't help.

Let us know about the situation with other browsers - it will help narrow things down.

I'm not usually a fan of magic fixers but I see this has helped a number of people on this forum with general Windows troubles:
http://www.tweaking.com/

I think it takes quite a while to run. I've not used it myself but I gather it is free or there is a free version.
