Website restore error in IE 11

Specs: Windows 10
Sometimes I get website restore error when trying to open a website in IE 11. Other times it works fine

is your flash player up to date?
is java up to date?
are you using an add blocker?
Why aren't you using edge or any other browser?
and what error or errors are you getting exactly?

I think MS only give half hearted support to IE these days so it isn't too reliable. Edge or Firefox are worth trying.

Hardly anyone uses Java these days and it is a security risk. Go the Control Panel (type it in Search) and see the Java icon. Go to the Security tab and uncheck the "Enable in browsers ..." box at the top. If everything still works for a month or so you can leave it that way. Don't confuse it with Javascript which is used all the time and is an entirely different thing to Java.
