Here is a website that you can use to check compatibility and be budget wise about it. I already put in your processor but they didn't offer the E8300 option so I choose the E8200 and Win10 Pro 64bit OS. If you know what all the other components are of your PC, then you will be able to pick and choose at your hearts content as long as you know your RAM type and motherboard. They could be your limiting factors or bottle necks. I don't want to be quoted but as long as the card fits in the motherboard I don't see how anything you choose won't work other than that it not performing to it full potential with your CPU.

Hope this helps and doesn't confuse you to much.

This should help also with understanding the why and why nots (I think, maybe, IDK, probably, possibly, no comment)

The limiting factor often is the power supply on factory machines so it is important to consider this. If you need further help post back chosen video card and power supply detailed specs from the label on the side of the power supply case. Another important factor is if you have a full width case or a narrow compact case which will need a low profile card. I have had good results with the GTX750Ti, the GTX950 and GTX1050Ti are the newer versions and better. The GTX750 and GTX1050 are just below their respective versions. These are fairly low wattage cards and may work with current power supplies if you have at least 300Watts or so but check the fine details first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
