Solved Upgrading Windows 10 Home to Pro

Specs: W10 Home
https://www.zdnet.com/article/going...

I was following this article on my Dell which has Windows 10 Home upgraded from Windows 8.1. I have only two numbers recorded when I had the device. A product key and CD key. I tried both. The product key failed. The CD key just said it was being activated. The screen did not say i went from Home to Pro or gave me an option to do anything.

Any thoughts? That web page seems closed for discussion. It is a couple of year old but has been updated in 2018.

Thanks

Oh gosh, I went through my files and my v8 was only HOME/BASIC. Not PRO. Darn. I always thought it was PRO.
My Windows 7 Ultimate failed too now.
All I got left is Vista Ultimate but they say that will not work.

What is it about Pro that you feel you need?
