Specs: Windows 10, e4400 intel/2gb
Cannot Uninstall Google Chrome. I get following pop up>> "Please close all Google Chrome windows (including those in Windows 8 mode) and try again."

I do not see any Chrome windows open at all. So, the message makes not sense.

How can I get around this so as to Uninstall Chrome?

Thanks much,

Just because there are no Chrome windows open it doesn't necessarily mean Chrome is not running.

Chrome could still be running invisibly in the background, that would prevent the uninstall routine from doing it's job.

Open Task Manager and look under the "Processes" tab. It shows all running processes on your PC.
Look for chrome.exe or anything with chrome in the name.

Highlight each of those in turn & click on the "End Process" button for each one.
Then try running the Chrome uninstaller again.

If you find that confusing/difficult to do, try restarting your PC instead.
Then try running the Chrome uninstaller.
