Specs: Windows 10, i7-8700K / 32GB
Hi. I'm unable to re-activate my Win 10, after having both swapped-out the motherboard and fresh installed Win 10.
I've used the troubleshooter, trying using the change key option and inputing my original (and only) key; tried searching for answers and found things like this, which, unfortunately, haven't helped my situation:

Could use some help. Not sure what to do now. Thanks

You may need to call Microsoft because of the change of hardware.

"after having both swapped-out the motherboard and fresh installed Win 10"

As far as Windows is concerned, the motherboard IS the "puter". Did you do as shown in your 1st link?

"if you make significant changes, such as replacing your motherboard, Windows will no longer find a license that matches your PC....you must link the account to your PC prior to the significant hardware change occurring"

"If you changed your hardware, and Windows 10 was preinstalled when you bought your PC, then you may need to purchase a new Windows license"
