Specs: Windows 10
Team
In IE I went to internet options/advanced/multimedia

There I disabled "Play animations in Webpages" (Remove the tick mark)

Hooray. This worked for me. I truly hope it solves your problem too.

Disable Play animations in Webpages option will only stop animated GIFs from playing in your web browser. I am not convinced it is the cure, if any, for IE11 Script error; the cure is to uninstall Google Toolbar.

This is a complete re-write of my previous message. Disabling Google bar is indeed the only method that works (until a better one is found). Great pity since I find the bar quite convenient. Thank you XpUser
