Solved replaced black ink cartridge

April 28, 2017 at 02:27:59
Specs: Windows 10
No black print out even after replacing cartridge and recalibrating on my AWD printer. I have new cartridges and the status monitor shows them both being nice and full. I the print head in the cartridges on this printer or is it inside the printer.

Looks like this one (or similar). Yes the Print head is a separate item. This is how to replace it if you are unable to clean it:

Most likely your problem is due to the print head being blocked but I cannot guarantee this.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Sorry but I don't know that printer and can find no reference anywhere to it.
Roughly how old is it? Is AWD the maker, if not who makes it?
Otherwise, if you can find any sort of link to your printer please pop it on here

Sometimes the print head is a separate item which can be cleaned or replaced.
Print heads for older printers can be rather expensive.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
