how do i figure out how to remove an incorrect wi-fi password and put in the correct one. having major problems. HELP !!!

You should be able to change it from within your router settings. The exact detail depends on your router and WiFi arrangements.

I think you are saying that on your Windows 10 computer (or other device like cell phone) you incorrectly entered the password so now the device does not connect and you cannot clear it out.
Open your Wifi properties and have right click on the Wifi connection, select: Forget. The Wifi connection will momentarily disappear but shortly come back. Then you select the connection and connect. You will be asked for the password again and you can now enter it correctly and it will be remembered.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
