Program window autosizer alternatives for Windows 7 & 10

March 4, 2016 at 07:44:04
Specs: any
I used to use (well, still do but only on XP and Vista) AutoResizer (southbaypc.com) for years. I tell it what program, via class name, to always maximize on open, it does it. Has not worked on W7 or 10. I have tried others but some were really more complicated or just not worked. Do you have suggestions (has to be either a real, working Windows tweak [because I never found one to work] of freeware software) as a permanent solution to when I open a program that is it fully maximized on screen?
Thank you.

I reply as fast as I can, but it could be hours or months.

Have you tried the built-in Windows way to maximize programs?

Right click on the program's shortcut and go to Properties. Under the Run option, change it from Normal Window to Maximized

Tried and true, but on the units I am using with 7, 8, and 10. You close the program and reopen it, it is back as a small windows somewhere on screen. Never, ever stays maximized after being closed. Any program, any of those three OSes, even when (at the time) the OS had nothing of mine yet installed, just its typical stock of bloat/crap/junkwares. Just finally had enough and started searching for alternatives past several weeks.
