Solved Problem with windows Live Mail groups

Specs: Windows 10, Intel i5 3.2GHz 8.0Bg
I have had this "group" (category) issue for some months so last night I reconstructed from scratch several of my groups. I sent a test email to each, with the names (within the groups) in the bcc list. I checked my "sent" items and was pleasantly surprised that the email went to all of the intended recipients. Indeed, some even sent acknowledgements!

Today I sent emails to exactly the same groups and on checking my "sent" box, one went to 3 (out of 42), one to 2 (out of 28) and one to 1 person (out of 44).

There is clearly still an issue. I am using Version 16.4.3528.0331 of WLM 2012. I have run the "Repair" Windows Live Essentials and noted that KB 3093594 has been withdrawn so couldn't try that route.

Help, please!

I strongly suggest you switch to another email service (perhaps the one provided by your ISP) if you cannot get it fixed.

I have never used a free email service as they rarely get fixed when a problem arises (there's no incentive to fix it if it's free).

I use my ISP's own email service which is provided as part of my monthly internet subscription. In the rare event of a problem with it they fix it quickly because if they don't we are entitled to compensation. You don't get that with free email.

Thanks for the links. I went to the very end (35 pages) of the first link and have tried the workaround clicking on the + sign next to the list having clicked on the "bcc" box.

Seems to work but a bit more time consuming!
