What format(s) are your documents in? Does it happen with
plain text documents?

Paper settings - what is the printer set to use, compared to what you have set when creating your document in Word or whichever?

It is your printer settings. Check both the printer dialog box in the program you are using (When you print, before you OK it look at preferences for the page size, it is probably set too small) and 'Devices and Printers'>right click>printing preferences.
If it happens with more than one program it will be the main one you need to set, same if setting in program does not 'stick' so check both. You are probably set to a small paper size and the printer is sizing it accordingly.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I misunderstood the original post. I thought the upper-left part
of the page was printing small while the rest of it was printing
normally. That would be unusual and maybe difficult to solve.
The whole page printing small is very common, easy to fix, and
should have been obvious to me.

My mind is going. I can feel it. There is no question about it.
