Please help, my sound does not work, i have tried everything

Specs: Windows 10
About 4 days ago, my sound stopped working on my laptop. So far I've done every mainstream option that you can find. I believe the problem is with my Intel Audio because it will not let me start that service. Everytime i try to start it, it just says "Windows could not start the Intel(R) Audio service on Local Computer. For more information. review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 0." I've tried updating my drivers, deinstalling them and than reinstalling them, I've tried an sfc scan, trouble shooter was pretty f---ing useless and taught me nothing. I've tried making sure I select Local Account in the properties of the Intel Audio Service. I have no clue what else I can do to fix this

Sounds like there's no sound drivers. (Drivers don't normally appear in the Services view.) Is there any mention of it in your system event log?

Possibly restore system back to a couple days before the sound issue happened

If it happened just after a Windows Update then the update may be either blocking the driver from working or installed its own driver in error.
Did you go back to the system manufactures site and make sure you have the latest of the exactly correct audio driver for your system? If the driver section does not specify a driver, does the manufacture site specify what audio chip your motherboard has? Are you sure that your audio chip is Intel? Most motherboards use other brand audio chips.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
